Sensor Tower estimates that GTA 6 has passed $750 million in pre-order revenue across PlayStation 5 and Xbox, IGN reported on 4 November 2026. The figure lands two weeks before the game arrives on 19 November 2026.

How much has GTA 6 made in pre-orders?

GTA 6 has pulled in more than $750 million in pre-orders, according to estimates from analytics firm Sensor Tower. IGN reported the figure on 4 November 2026, two weeks before the game launches.

The estimate covers both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, the two platforms the game is coming to. Sensor Tower compiled the data, so the number is its estimate rather than a figure published by Rockstar or Take-Two.

What does $750m in pre-orders mean before launch?

Pre-orders are money taken before a game is out, so this is a measure of how many players have already paid to secure a copy. Passing $750 million before release puts the launch among the biggest the industry has seen.

It is worth keeping in mind that this is an estimate from a third-party firm. Rockstar and Take-Two have not put out their own pre-order numbers, so Sensor Tower's figure is the clearest picture of demand so far.

When does GTA 6 come out?

GTA 6 is set to launch on 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PC version has been announced.

With two weeks to go, the pre-order estimate gives a sense of the scale of the launch. Players who have already ordered will be counting down the days.
