GTA 6 Price and Editions: Standard vs Ultimate
GTA 6 costs $79.99 (Standard) or $99.99 (Ultimate). Anyone who buys before November 20, 2026 also gets the Vintage Vice City Pack, and digital pre-orders add a free month of GTA+.
How much is GTA 6?
Rockstar announced the prices when pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026:
| Edition | US price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $79.99 | The full game |
| Ultimate | $99.99 | The game plus an exclusive set of vehicles, weapons, clothing and more tied to Jason and Lucia’s story |
Prices in other countries depend on the store and currency, so check your local PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store.
Is the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition worth it?
The Ultimate Edition is the same game with extra in-game items. It doesn’t add story missions that Rockstar has announced. If you just want to play the story, the Standard Edition is all you need. If you plan to spend a lot of time in the world and like having premium cars and outfits early, the extra $20 gets you those from day one.
What is the GTA 6 pre-order bonus?
- Vintage Vice City Pack: included with every pre-order and every purchase made before November 20, 2026, so you still get it if you buy on launch day.
- A free month of GTA+: for digital pre-orders.
Is the GTA 6 physical copy a disc?
No. The boxed edition contains a download code, not a disc. You can still preload it from November 12. See our preload guide for the steps.
Where can I buy GTA 6?
Rockstar lists the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Games Store, and major retailers. It’s on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only for now; a PC version hasn’t been announced (see our PC release date guide).
