GTA 6 song feature surprises Cliff Richard
Cliff Richard has responded to his song featuring in the GTA 6 Extended Look, saying he was not aware of it. IGN reported on 27 October 2026 that the 86-year-old singer did not know what the game was.
What did Cliff Richard say about his song in GTA 6?
Cliff Richard has given his first reaction to one of his old tracks turning up in the GTA 6 Extended Look, and it turns out the news had not reached him. The 86-year-old singer did not know his song had been used, and the wider Rockstar Games phenomenon appears to have passed him by entirely.
IGN reported the reaction on 27 October 2026. The piece describes an unlikely resurgence for the British singer after the track appeared in the Extended Look, which was shown on Netflix.
Is the Cliff Richard song in GTA 6 confirmed?
The use of the song in the Extended Look is not in question. What is less clear is whether it will appear in the finished game, and Rockstar has not commented on the singer's remarks.
The Extended Look is marketing material, so a track turning up there does not by itself tell players what the in-game radio will sound like. Rockstar has not confirmed the full music lineup for GTA 6.
When is GTA 6 out?
GTA 6 is due on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PC version has been announced.
Music has been a big part of the conversation around the game, and this is the latest example of an artist being asked about a track before any official word from Rockstar.
What we're still waiting on
- Rockstar confirming whether the Cliff Richard song will be in the game itself
- The full GTA 6 music lineup
- Any PC version announcement
