GTA 6 Online tipped for early 2027 by bank

A bank report cited by GameSpot suggests Rockstar could release a new version of GTA Online in the first quarter of 2027. Rockstar has not confirmed any such launch.

When is the new GTA Online coming out?

A bank report has pointed to a possible first-quarter 2027 launch for a new version of GTA Online, according to GameSpot. The report was covered on 28 October 2026.

That timing would put the online mode a few months after GTA 6 itself, which arrives on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not confirmed a date for any new GTA Online.

Why does a bank care about GTA Online?

The report comes as Take-Two's share price has been falling. GameSpot notes the stock is down 21% this year and has slipped under $200, after hitting a 52-week high of $265.

The bank behind the report is said to see room for the stock to recover, partly because a new GTA Online could bring in a lot of money. That is an analyst view, not an announcement from Rockstar or Take-Two.

What has Rockstar said about GTA Online?

Nothing about a launch window. Treat the early 2027 timing as rumour until Rockstar, Take-Two, Sony or Microsoft says otherwise.

For now, the only firm date is GTA 6 on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. No PC version has been announced.
